Welcome to Stonewall Stables
Stonewall Stables is a family oriented recreational equestrian center for riders of all ages. Our goal is to provide the highest quality recreational riding opportunities in a safe, friendly, affordable environment.

Stonewall Stables is now a "Proud Partner" of the Penn State Equine Team's Environmental Stewardship Program. For more information on how we are helping to preserve the equine environment go to ... http://extension.psu.edu/animals/equine/farm-partners and click on our farm name.
  • Situated on 19 acres in scenic Chester County, PA, Stonewall Stables is conveniently located at 203 Bertolett School Road, Spring City PA, near the intersection of Routes 100 and 23. (Click on map for directions).
  • Services:
Services offered include various levels of training and instruction and full care board. To ensure adequate quality pastures and small herd sizes the capacity of the stables is limited to 14 horses. This ensures uncrowded use of the indoor and outdoor arenas and trails. The small herd sizes allow safe handling and interaction between animals. Horses are individually walked to and from their pastures allowing for routine monitoring of their condition. Feed and hay are of the highest quality and are adjusted according to each animal’s nutritional requirements. Dietary supplements can be added at the owner’s request. In some cases solitary turnout can be arranged. Local professionals provide instruction, veterinary and farrier services. Owners are also permitted to use their own professional service providers.
  • Facilities and Instruction:
Riding is safe and fun in the 95’ x 120’ indoor mirrored ring or in the lighted open-air dressage ring. When weather permits an outdoor jump course is both challenging and fun for all level of riders. Many beautifully wooded trails and meadows complete the all around riding setting that surrounds Stonewall Stables.
Individual and small group instruction can be provided by the Facility Manager and Expert Instructor Amanda Enwright. Specialized riding instruction can also be arranged according to the rider’s interests and abilities. For visitors a nominal fee of $15 per hour is charged for using the riding arenas. A limited number of day use and monthly access passes are also available for nearby residents.
